Budapest : Day 1

Hey ! So, its been awhile since I have blogged but its mainly because I have been catching up with life itself , heh heh . Anyways, its time for Travel Blogging ! Winter Trip Year 1 :)

So, 12 of us took the morning flight from London Stansted Airport to Budapest with Ryan Air for only 90Pounds return flight which I personally thought was quite reasonable. After being 2 hours in the flight, we arrived around noon and checked in our accomodation, K9 Residence. It was quite impressive cause it was more of an apartment and cost each one of us about 25Pounds for our whole stay for 3 nights. Got ourselves some kosher food nearby and checked out the Central Market ; one of the tourist places to go to grab souvenirs !

Anyways, it started to get dark so we just walked to the nearest bridge, the Liberty Bridge (which connects the two between Buda and Pest). It was utterly cold, at about -5degrees, but the view was beautiful !

Near the bridge are streets that you can just randomly walk around and discover the culture. Hungarian food shops were everywhere and price is definitely cheaper than expected. Thus, expenses for food should never be one of the main concerns here at Budapest , God Bless ! We tried out their famous Goulash and Hungarian Noodles (which is actually dumplings). I personally got tired of the taste a bit cause the taste got a bit too 'pale' later on. I would say it is of a distinctive taste. I would say a meal was of an average 8Pounds for me, just today
